Little House on the Prairie: Adam and Mary are delighted to be expecting their first child, and Mary--who cannot understand why Adam refuses to talk about his father--writes the man herself to tell him the good news. Things seem to start off well when Thomas Kendall arrives in Walnut Grove for a visit, but when he gets an extravagent idea in his head, Adam and Mary are left with an important decision to make. Meanwhile, Albert Ingalls is smitten with Miss Bennett, a beautiful young woman who is substituting for Mrs. Garvey at school.
