Kurokami The Animation: Akane arrives to find Kuro and Keita alone in the apartment. Despite Kuro trying to explain the situation, Akane his convinced that they are actually a couple. She refuses to disbelieve this, even when Keita says otherwise. In the wake of forming the contract Keita and Kuro must spend time together or risk the contract being rejected. As such they spend the day shopping for Kuro with Akane. The next day, Keita is fed up with Kuro and goes off to school alone. Back at the apartment Kuro is attacked by two men who appaer to be Tribal Ends. She fears for Keita's safety, and has Punipuni track him. She arrives just in time to see Keita's teacher (also a Tribal End) attack Keita. At first, Kuro is losing to him as she is unable to synchro with Keita and utilise her full power. However, they eventually manage to pull it off and the Tribal End is defeated.
