Return to the Planet of the Apes: General Urko, despite having been relieved of command, has his underlings launch an attack on New Valley. Bill and Cornelius balloon back to the land of the Kygoor and the Mountain Apes to retrieve the "Day at the Zoo" book, which they hope will convince the Simian Senate that humanoids had civilization before apes did. However, they're followed and attacked by the monster bird.
