Punky Brewster: Excited about the beginning of summer vacation, Punky and Cherie are hanging party decorations in the treehouse when a false step sends Punky out on a limb--literally. Cherie panics, and Punky suffers a broken arm and leg as a result, leading Cherie to believe that she is nothing more than a wimp. Cherie continues to mope around for several weeks thereafter, but she gets a chance to redeem herself when she and Punky are caught in another difficult situation.
