Little House on the Prairie: A kindly dwarf named Lou--whose equally delicate wife does not survive childbirth--decides to honor her dying wish, abandon his life as a circus performer, and find a more stable lifestyle for their child's sake. His sharp mathematics skills make him the perfect candidate for a position at the bank in Walnut Grove, but there's just one person in town who won't look past her prejudices, and her name is Harriet Oleson. With a baby girl to feed and no immediate income, Lou resorts to stealing from the mercantile. Once his secret is loose, Harriet plans to have him thrown in jail, but her attitude will not serve her well when she suddenly needs Lou's help the most.
