Little House on the Prairie: Adam Simms and his son Luke move into town. Adam and Miss Beadle quickly fall in love, while Luke and Nellie develop a whirlwind romance of their own. While Luke is a decent young man and very loyal to Nellie, his classic "farm boy" demeanor does not meet Harriet Oleson's lofty standards. The young couple opt to run away and elope, and while their families manage to prevent this spontaneous attempt just in time, it represents the important next step for Miss Beadle and Adam.
