The story of Connie Sproutz, a young woman with a spore-generating deformity which causes personal problems in her day-to-day life. She is forced to dissolve various personages into a gelatinous mass to be devoured by the neural parasite that inhabits her skull. Her brain has been removed and stored separately to accommodate the parasite. Connie formerly worked at Plasmaster Corporation and was a highly creative inventor under the tutelage of Dr. Eusapius Tourmaline, Head of Research. His demise was unfortunately linked to Connie's parasite, and precipitated Connie's early departure from Plasmaster. She traveled about and then, where the story of the film begins, moved into the Grand Hotel. Norbert the Night Clerk checked her in, and at the same time became interested in Connie: an unwise move on his part. Dr. Sigmund Sylvanus, Scientific Investigator, traced Connie to the Grand and began compiling more information on her activities, in preparation for the "experiment" he planned. ...
