Born in Wales, Anthony Hopkins began pursuing acting at the age of 18. By 1963, he had graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Although he did well on stage, he struggled with alcoholism. After personal reform, he gained momentum and praise. Hopkins is considered one of the greatest actors of our time, best known for playing a cannibalistic serial killer in The Silence of the Lambs.
